We offer this Female Trinary Safety Switch Kit With Reduced Barrier 90 Degree Compressor Fittings for the customer that is using an aftermarket front accessory drive system. Most aftermarket accessory drive systems use a Sanden SD7B10 compressor which typically requires 90 degree service ports. Also, because most of these accessory drives utilize a reverse-rotation water pump, an electric cooling fan is required. We strongly suggest using a trinary safety switch on cars with A/C that are using electric fans. The Female Trinary Safety Switch included in this kit is designed to screw onto a male thread schrader valve (typically on a hardline). This safety switch protects the compressor when high side freon pressure is below 30 PSI and above 406 PSI. It also activates the cooling fan at 254 PSI.
